WHY INTRODUCTIONS MATTER:

WHAT MAKES A GREAT ASK:
☐ Specific (name, company, person)
☐ Easy to forward (blurb included)
☐ Context provided (why this person/company)
☐ Low friction (single email forward)
☐ Follow-up promised (you'll report back)

INTRODUCTION ASK MISTAKES:
☐ Too vague ("anyone in healthcare")
☐ Too broad ("customers in enterprise")
☐ No context (why should they intro you?)
☐ No forwardable content (extra work)
☐ Too frequent (intro fatigue)
☐ No follow-up (they never hear outcome)

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF ASKS:
"Make the investor look good when they
make the intro. Give them everything they
need to look like a helpful connector."

TIMING YOUR ASKS:
☐ Space asks 2-4 weeks apart
☐ Follow up on previous asks first
☐ Save big asks for when you have momentum
☐ Don't ask during challenging times
☐ Ask when you have good news to share

ASK TRACKING DISCIPLINE:
☐ Track every ask in a system
☐ Follow up within 48 hours of intro
☐ Report outcome to investor (critical!)
☐ Thank them regardless of outcome
